A carpet blower, sometimes referred to as an air blower, are most often used for drying flood damaged carpeting or floors.

Because this is an electrical device, that is being used in areas that are generally quite wet, there are some safety guidelines to consider.

Do not leave the carpet blower unattended, or leave it running over night. It is a good idea to move the carpet blower to a new spot every couple of hours.

Make sure the nozzle is pointed horizontally across the wet surface to maximize the effectiveness of the drying. It would not be a good idea to point the nozzle upward.

As a tip, you could use this machine in conjunction with a dehumidifier or air conditioner. This would improve your drying time drastically.

Consider ventilation when using this machine. As the moisture evaporates, it will need somewhere to go. Open windows and doors while using this tool.

Keep the carpet blower away from objects and materials that could potentially get sucked up into the machine.

Clean the machine regularly.
