Concrete test cubes for testing new batches of concrete mix.
Concrete Test Cubes
Description
Concrete test cubes are heavy cube shaped steel tools used to make concrete blocks. These blocks are designed to test batches of concrete for strength and durability. Concrete is poured into this block and allowed to cure. Once the concrete is ready, it is removed from the concrete test cube, and various tests are performed on the concrete at predetermined time intervals.
Ideally, the concrete test cubes should be made by an experienced individual who is familiar with the process of pouring out and tempering concrete.
Once the block are made, they can be moved to testing machines, which apply various pressures to the cube until they fail. If the concrete test cube fails before a certain threshold then that batch of concrete used to make the block may be marked as a bad batch and should be adjusted or thrown out. The mixture should then be modified until the process produces the desired results.
