A concrete mixer is sometimes mistakenly called a cement mixer, but since the machine mixes cement with other materials to form concrete it is not necessarily an accurate description. A concrete mixer has a revolving drum which homogeneously mixes together the components that form concrete.

The main benefit of this machine is that it saves time and manpower, that would otherwise be consumed by manually mixing cement by hand, or with a tool such as a spade.

Another advantage to hiring one of these machines for your construction project, is that the concrete is more easily poured, and is kept wet for longer due to the spinning or rotating action of the mixers drum.
