High Pressure Washer

High Pressure Washer

A high pressure washer is used for pressure washing, or power washing.

Category:

Description

Water is sprayed from the high pressure washer in order to remove loose paint, mold, dust, mud, dirt, and dried concrete from surfaces or objects such as buildings, vehicles, or concrete surfaces.

The basic parts of the high pressure washer include a motor that drives a high-pressure water pump, a high-pressure hose and a gun shaped trigger switch. The high pressure and velocity of the water is created by a pressure washer much in the same way as a thumb can create pressure on a garden hose.

The water supply must be adequate for the machine to prevent water starvation damage to the pump.

High pressure washers are dangerous tools and should be operated with care. Avoid pointing the nozzle at people while the machine is in use as the velocity of the water can cause serious injury.
